Ayaneo, who are known for making handheld devices, have announced plans to make a mobile device. The company have said across their social media pages that their newest release is going to be just for gamers, with a YouTube video accompanying their announcement.
What Can We Expect from the New Ayaneo Phone?
Although we might know a lot about the new phone yet, we do know that the phone is going to be black, with two cameras. We also know that it is going to have an LED light and that it’s going to have two shoulder buttons at the back.
These are going to be useful for when the device is held horizontally. Fans of the company’s product line have come out to say that some of the features that they would like to see include a 3.5mm headphone jack, as well as a pair of stereo speakers. Some would also like to see an SD card slot, however, this is not a dealbreaker. A mobile phone focused on gaming could be a very natural line of progression for the company, as they have been experimenting with a range of different options in the past. Some of them even have full keyboards. Of course, Ayaneo moving into the phone market makes a lot of sense, too, as they already make Android-based devices, so it could be a natural companion for those who already have a device.
Benchmark Performance We Could Expect from the Ayaneo Phone
A good gaming device is benchmarked by a number of performance metrics. Even though we don’t know what metrics the new Ayaneo device is going to have, we can compare it to other modern gaming phones to see what we could be looking at.
A smooth frame rate of 60fps, as well as the ability to handle 4K without significant slowdown, are must-have features. A fast display refresh rate and response time are also important, given the fast-paced gameplay of most modern mobile games.

The Ayaneo phone is designed specifically for gamers, so moving forward, it may be that phones become more individualised for certain needs, facilitating having more than one device for each primary function.
