It’s rare to chance upon a hidden gem in Soho. Long gone are the days wherein you can stumble upon a small eatery, nestled in some unexplored nook. Chez Antoinette is perhaps the closest thing you can find within the untrodden realms of ‘I found this first.’

Located in the heart of Covent Garden, this French-brasserie is unassuming. It would be easy to gloss over it in choosing a spot to eat: corporate set lunches of French food  has made the concept of brasseries in London feel tired. Anyone with a passion for good food avoids these copy and paste establishments like the plague.

Yet Chez Antoinette is a very different experience from your half-seasoned steak avec frites. The main reason? It is run and owned by husband and wife duo Aurélia and Jean-Baptiste Noël-Delclos, who infuse the walls with a warm French charm. This is no cash-pig: instead, it’s the child of gastro-love making, a restaurant that, despite all odds, remained independent and true to family cooking.

Chez Antoinette Covent Garden

Rustic antiques, art deco table lamps, oak and brass hues characterise Chez Antoinette with an approachable style of glam. It is both upmarket and unapologetically rustic, without being gimmicky. That being said, there is a dessert table, clad with delightful looking sweet treats. It screams of the 1980s, or very expensive hotels. I want to brandish this as tacky, yet its effect casts a domestic glow over the dining room. It feels indicative of Aurélia’s motherly affection as she guides us through the dining room.

The menu at Chez Antoinette is unassuming. It’s as if a Lyonnaise-café wed a Parisian bistro. The food is simple and surprisingly light: if you’re expecting whole cuts of meat to be plonked at your table, smothered in butter, then you’re in the wrong place. Good French gastronomy focuses more on utilising simple, high quality ingredients.

Take for example, the Sausage & Lentils. It is, indeed, just that: one large, juicy Morteau sausage with gently cooked lentils. Or the Duck Confit Salad – shredded crispy confit duck tossed in a tangy salad dressing. And, whilst there are some classically identifiable French items – snails in garlic butter, or beef bourguignon, the menu hasn’t been written to fit any mould.

Chez Antoinette doesn’t cater to diners shopping for pretentiousness. This is refined home cooking, at its best.

The official Tower of London River Tour quietly launched in December 2025, introducing a voyage through London’s past aboard the UK’s first electric tour boat.

Operated by Woods Tours in partnership with Historic Royal Palaces, the Tower of London River Tour is a NEW refined London attraction, set aboard the purpose-built Silver Raven, a state-of-the-art electric vessel designed to glide cleanly and quietly along the Thames, offering panoramic views as London’s stories unfold. This 40-minute live-guided experience artfully blends heritage and humour, inviting passengers to explore the capital from the very river that shaped it. The only tour created in collaboration with Historic Royal Palaces, it brings more than 1,000 years of history accurately to life, as passengers journey past twenty of London’s most iconic landmarks on a circular route from Tower Bridge Quay to Westminster and back.

Tower of London river tour

The live narration, written by Martha Howe-Douglas, co-creator of BBC’s Ghosts, brings London’s stories to life with wit, warmth and wonder, revealing the river’s role as both lifeline and legend.

“I’ve been on a deep dive through the Thames’ murky past (thankfully not literally!), unearthing the stories that have shaped London,” says Martha Howe-Douglas. “To see the Silver Raven set sail from the Tower, carrying those tales into the future, is very special. It’s such an honour to be part of the brilliant team who are bringing the past to life, on a boat designed for the future.”

Tower of London river tour

Purpose-built for London, the Silver Raven cuts a sleek silhouette on the River Thames, beautiful to behold both inside and out. Its enclosed glass design offers a shield from the elements while revealing uninterrupted panoramic views that frame the magic of the river from every seat. Paired with smooth electric propulsion and elegantly detailed interiors, it offers a quietly luxurious way to experience the river in all conditions.

The UK’s first electric tour boat

The tour is operated aboard the Silver Raven, a 39-metre electric catamaran designed by the Woods family, in collaboration with leading naval architects. Built by superyacht specialists Pendennis Shipyard in Cornwall, it is powered by a 720 kW EST-Floattech Octopus Series battery bank and engineered for rapid charging between tours, marking a significant step in the decarbonisation of the UK’s domestic maritime sector.

Tower of London river tour

The Silver Raven project received funding through the UK Government’s Clean Maritime Demonstration Competition (CMDC4), delivered by Innovate UK, underscoring its role as a pioneering example of sustainable British shipbuilding. Constructed to the rigorous standards of Lloyd’s Register and the Maritime and Coastguard Agency, the Silver Raven combines advanced technology with British craftsmanship. The arrival of the vessel precedes new electric charging infrastructure at Tower Bridge Quay, to be developed in partnership with the Department for Transport and the Port of London Authority, which aims to allow fully renewable grid charging in 2026.

“The Silver Raven is the product of years of development,” says Chris Kangis, CEO of Woods Tours. “It showcases the strength of British shipbuilding and innovation, offering a quiet, clean and beautiful way to experience the Thames and is the future of river tourism.”

Designed for comfort, crafted with heritage

Tower of London river tour

Interiors by Kate Woods, fifth-generation of the Woods family of Thames Watermen, pay homage to London’s river heritage, echoing the heyday of city river cruising.. The design subtly connects the Tower of London and the River Thames through sustainable British materials and thoughtful detailing, including:

  • panoramic single-deck views with awning-shaded decks
  • bespoke House of Hackney Axminster carpet woven in Devon
  • eco-leather seating crafted in Scotland
  • a hammered English pewter bar, reflecting light like ripples on water

Guests can choose from open-air or covered outdoor seating, or stay indoors beneath a glazed ceiling, ensuring a spectacular visual experience whatever the weather.

A symbolic ‘due’

In a ceremony that bridged centuries of Thames tradition, the Silver Raven was officially welcomed to London on Monday, 13th October by the Governor of the Tower of London and the Yeoman Gaoler.

Reviving a custom that dates back to 1381, the vessel’s captain presented a ceremonial keg of Verdant Brewing Co. Dry Irish Stout to the Governor, a symbolic “due” once paid by ships for safe passage past the Tower. The gesture marked the Silver Raven’s journey from its Cornish shipyard to its new home on the River Thames, uniting heritage and innovation as the UK’s first electric tour boat.

Plan your visit

The Tower of London River Tour departs at regular intervals throughout the day from Tower Bridge Quay, just moments from the Tower of London. The 40-minute round-trip cruise offers panoramic views, live storytelling, and a fully accessible experience for adults and families alike.

Tickets start from £18.50 for adults and £14.50 for children. Guests can enhance their day with a Tower + River combined ticket, or toast their journey with a glass of something special from the  beautiful saloon bar onboard.

Check availability on www.toweroflondonrivertour.com

Accessibility

The Tower of London River Tour aims to provide a great experience for all ages, abilities and backgrounds and to make it as accessible as possible for everyone. When purchasing tickets, a complimentary ticket is provided for those requiring a carer. Tower Bridge Quay provides step-free access from St Katharine’s Way. However, the River Thames is a tidal river, and the gradient for access to the boat is dictated by daily tides. Please see the tour’s accessibility page for further information.

The Tower of London River Tour will run regular BSL-interpreted and relaxed tours, and a printout of the tour script is offered to guests if requested – ideally in advance. Please get in touch for further information.

Developed in collaboration with The Mayfair Chippy’s Saudi Operations Manager, the new Iftar menu signals the brand’s first overseas franchise partnership, ahead of its expansion into Saudi Arabia in late spring/summer 2026.

The menu offers four courses and consists of a mixture of Mayfair Chippy classics and Middle Eastern inspired delights. Priced at £48 per guest, it will be available daily after 5pm throughout the month of Ramadan.

The first course or ‘Iftar’ will include the traditional medjool dates, alongside roasted cashew nuts, mini lentil soup, creme fraiche, ras el hanout and lemon and mint water.

The Chippy ‘Mezze’ follows, with a choice of either a fish or vegetarian dish, shared between two guests. Highlights include TMC Prawn Toast with king prawns, fried butter loaf and sriracha mayonnaise, or crispy oyster mushrooms with black garlic and truffle mayonnaise.

Luxury in 2026 is no longer about high price tags or exclusivity, but about how experiences make us feel, according to new research released today by The Ivy Collection.

A nationwide study of UK adults reveals that modern luxury is now defined by quality time with loved ones, shared experiences and affordable treats, rather than extravagance – as The Ivy announces the expansion of its iconic 1917 two-course set menu for just £19.17 from Monday 5th January.

Everyday luxury over extravagance

The research found that more than one in three Brits (36%) believe luxury today is about how something makes you feel, not how much it costs, while just a small minority (14%) associate luxury primarily with exclusivity or high price points.

When asked what they consider to be “everyday luxuries” in 2026, the top responses for the people of Yorkshire included:

  • Treating yourself without worrying about the cost (45%)
  • Peace of mind about money (41%)
  • Spending quality time with family and friends (38%)
  • Good food in a beautiful setting (38%)
  • Enjoying a meal out with others (35%)

The findings reflect a cultural shift towards accessible, emotional luxury – experiences that feel special but still fit into everyday life.

Dining out is still considered a special treat

While almost half of Brits in Yorkshire seeing dining out at a restaurant as a special treat they enjoy occasionally (48%), a number of people feel that luxuries, such as dining out, should feel special but still feel affordable (30%) and therefore a more attainable experience.

When asked what price point feels like an affordable luxury for a restaurant meal, nearly half of Brits (49%) said £30 or less, reinforcing the growing demand for high-quality dining experiences at accessible prices.

What makes a meal feel luxurious?

Rather than excess, the people of Yorkshire say luxury dining is defined by:

  • High-quality food (36%)
  • A beautiful, welcoming setting (33%)
  • Good service that makes guests feel valued (29%)
  • Being able to relax and take time over a meal (29%)
  • Consistent quality you can trust (22%)

The Ivy’s 1917 Menu Expands

In response to this shift, The Ivy is expanding its much-loved 1917 two-course set menu, priced at £19.17, celebrating the year the first Ivy restaurant opened in London.

Available across The Ivy Collection, the menu now has an additional two dishes per course, offering a curated selection of seasonal dishes that combine classic Ivy style with contemporary flavours – delivering what diners increasingly want: elevated luxury at an everyday price.

Perfectly comforting for winter, starters include a warming French Onion Soup, topped with gratinated cheese croutons and parsley and a luxurious Duck Liver Parfait with caramelised hazelnuts, apricot and apple chutney, served with toasted brioche. Other options among the starters are Robata Grilled Chicken Skewers with a creamy bang bang peanut sauce, sesame, coconut, lime and coriander, a vibrant Tamarind Beetroot and Endive Salad and Salt and Pepper Calamari with a sesame and gochujang glaze and an Asian slaw.

1917 menu at The Ivy

Stars of the mains include The Ivy Classic Shepherd’s Pie, made with slow-braised lamb and beef, topped with cheddar mash and served with a rich rosemary and red wine sauce, a Pan-fried Aegean Sea Bream with shaved fennel, Granny Smith apples, chives and white wine velouté and a rich and creamy Foraged Wild Mushroom and Truffle Linguine. For a £4.95 supplement, guests can also opt for the Minute Steak, accompanied by a rich peppercorn sauce, crispy onions and triple cooked chips.

Guests needn’t stop there, as for an additional £4.95 there are a selection of delectable desserts, including a Flambéed Crème Brûlée and Sticky Toffee Pudding. For a £2.95 supplement, guests can enjoy in the iconic Ivy Chocolate Bombe with vanilla ice cream, honeycomb and hot caramel sauce.

Mark Askew, Group Executive Chef for The Ivy Collection said:It’s clear from our research that luxury today is about connection, comfort and quality – not cost. Our 1917 menu is about making everyday luxuries more accessible, whether that’s a midweek lunch, a spontaneous dinner or time spent catching up with loved ones. At just £19.17, it is the perfect antidote to the winter blues, giving guests an opportunity to continue enjoying life’s small luxuries, even when budgets are feeling stretched after Christmas.”

A luxury people can enjoy more often

With over a third of Brits (36%) saying they prefer regular, guilt-free treats over occasional big splurges, the research highlights why accessible luxury is becoming the new benchmark.

As diners look for experiences that feel special without being extravagant, The Ivy’s 1917 menu offers a chance to enjoy the brand’s signature hospitality, heritage and atmosphere – for just £19.17.

The 1917 menu will be priced at £19.17 for two courses from Monday 5th January until Saturday 28th February. The 1917 menu will not be available on Valentine’s Day (Saturday 14th February)

Menus at The Original Ivy (West Street, London), The Ivy Belfast Brasserie and The Ivy Dawson Street (Dublin) will differ.

Overseen by MasterChef winner Stu Deeley, the menu celebrates the best of seasonal British produce, much of it sourced from the hotel’s own walled gardens, and delivered with a lightness of touch that favours finesse over flourish. The dining room’s calm, inviting warmth lets the cooking take centre stage: modern, considered plates that subtly reference tradition while looking firmly forward. This is a restaurant best enjoyed unhurriedly.

A True Taste of Thailand Above Hyde Park

Nipa Thai | Royal Lancaster London

Hidden in plain sight, Nipa Thai is one of London’s most authentic Thai dining rooms. Run by an all female led Thai kitchen and recognised with Thai Select accolades, this is cooking rooted firmly in tradition fragrant curries, punchy salads and elegant tasting menus, served within teak-lined interiors overlooking Hyde Park. It’s the kind of place regulars guard closely, returning time and again for consistency and soul.

Island Dining with Timeless Grace

Longueville Manor | Jersey

Dining at Longueville Manor is inseparable from its setting. On the Isle of Jersey, menus draw deeply from the land and sea: Jersey Royals, island lamb and pristine seafood, prepared with classical technique and a light contemporary touch. Whether enjoyed in the manor’s refined dining room or on the terrace in summer, it’s a lesson in how provenance elevates every plate.

The Quintessential Country-House Tea Escape

Burnham Beeches Hotel

Afternoon tea at Burnham Beeches Hotel feels gloriously unhurried. Served within a dedicated Afternoon Tea Room (The Evergreen Tea Room), in a grand yet welcoming country-house setting surrounded by ancient woodland, it’s a beautifully judged balance of tradition and indulgence: delicate finger sandwiches, warm scones and elegant patisserie, all enjoyed at a pace that encourages lingering. A reminder that afternoon tea, done properly, is still one of Britain’s great pleasures.

A Floating Dining Room with a Skyline View

Sunborn London | Lands End Restaurant

British cooking

Moored in Royal Victoria Docks, Lands End Restaurant offers one of London’s most unexpected and unique dining rooms, aboard a sleek superyacht. Contemporary British menus are paired with cinematic views of the Thames and the city beyond, best enjoyed at sunset. It’s smart, relaxed and quietly glamorous, proving that sometimes the best tables in town are floating just off the beaten path.

Moving out of a property in Canary Wharf can feel stressful, especially if the goal is to leave the flat spotless and ready for inspection. End of tenancy cleaning plays a key role in securing the full deposit and satisfying landlord or agent expectations. Before hiring a cleaning service, it helps to know what signs show a team will meet high professional standards and deliver a result that meets inspection requirements.

Tenants and landlords in Canary Wharf often look for cleaning services that follow agent-approved checklists and uphold strong quality guarantees. By checking a few key details before booking, they can avoid last-minute issues and feel confident that every part of the property will pass inspection without dispute.

Check if the cleaning service offers a 7-day workmanship guarantee

A solid workmanship guarantee shows that a company stands by the quality of its work. Many of the best Canary Wharf end of tenancy cleaning services include such a policy to reassure clients that their rental will meet landlord or letting agent standards. A 7-day timeframe allows tenants enough time to check every area before the landlord’s inspection.

end of tenancy cleaning services

This type of guarantee usually covers free re-cleans if something was missed or not up to standard. It helps reduce disputes and guarantees customers receive full value for their money. Tenants who want to secure their deposit benefit most, as they can request that the cleaners address any missed details promptly.

Before booking a service for expert end-of-tenancy cleaning, clients should confirm in writing that a 7-day guarantee is in place. Reliable companies like Better Maid, which emphasise customer satisfaction and quality results, often provide this level of protection and accountability.

Verify the use of estate agent-approved cleaning checklists

A good end of tenancy cleaning company should follow checklists that estate agents recognise. These checklists outline what areas and items must meet professional cleaning standards before a move-out inspection. They help tenants meet the conditions needed to recover their deposits in full.

end of tenancy cleaning services

An estate agent-approved checklist sets clear expectations for both tenants and landlords. It covers every space in the property, from the kitchen appliances and bathrooms to windows and skirting boards. In turn, this avoids disputes about missed tasks or cleanliness levels.

Before hiring a service in Canary Wharf, tenants should ask to see the checklist used by the company. If the provider cannot show evidence of approval, it may indicate a lack of professional quality control. A trustworthy cleaner will present proof of their checklist and explain how it matches estate agent standards. This extra step can save both time and stress at the end of the tenancy.

Confirm availability of deep cleaning for kitchens and appliances

A professional end of tenancy service should cover deep cleaning for all kitchen areas. This includes worktops, cabinets, sinks, and hard-to-reach surfaces where grease often builds up. Tenants or landlords should confirm that the cleaner tackles every surface, not just visible spots.

end of tenancy cleaning services

Appliances need equal attention. Cleaners should address ovens, hobs, fridges, and microwaves inside and out to remove grime and odours. A quick wipe rarely satisfies inspection standards, so detailed work on handles, seals, and trays matters.

Before booking, it helps to review the company’s checklist or request one. That document should clearly list each kitchen task to prevent confusion later. If the cleaner hesitates to provide details, this may signal poor preparation or service quality.

Some providers offer deep cleaning as an optional add-on rather than a standard feature. Therefore, asking early about scope, time needed, and any extra cost helps avoid surprises on the final bill.

Guarantee the service uses advanced cleaning techniques and products

A good end of tenancy cleaning service in Canary Wharf should use methods that reach deeper than routine household cleaning. Professional cleaners often rely on steam treatment, high-efficiency vacuums, and specialist tools to remove dirt from carpets, walls, and hard-to-reach spots. These techniques help bring the property closer to the standard expected by landlords and letting agents.

end of tenancy cleaning services

Products also matter. The best services use cleaning agents that lift grime effectively yet remain safe for surfaces and the environment. Eco-friendly formulas reduce the risk of damage to flooring, paintwork, and fixtures while keeping indoor air quality healthier for new tenants.

It helps to ask the cleaning team about what equipment and products they use before booking. A company that stays up to date with modern cleaning methods often delivers more consistent results and reduces the chance of needing a re-clean. This extra step saves time and secures a smoother move-out process.

Look for agents or landlord approval to secure your deposit

Tenants should always confirm that their landlord or letting agent approves the end of tenancy cleaning before arranging any service. This step prevents disputes over cleaning standards and helps protect the tenancy deposit. A short written message or email confirming approval can save time later.

Most tenancy deposits in England fall under a protection scheme that holds or insures the money until the tenancy ends. The landlord must use an approved scheme and give written details of it to the tenant. If any disagreement happens about cleaning charges, this documentation supports the tenant’s case.

A landlord or agent may have specific cleaning requirements listed in the tenancy agreement. Tenants should review these details and share them with the cleaning company to match expectations. Clear communication and proof of professional cleaning can make it easier to recover the deposit after inspection.

Conclusion

Before choosing an end of tenancy cleaning service in Canary Wharf, tenants and landlords should verify the company’s experience, cleaning standards, and use of approved cleaning products. This helps confirm that the job meets local property expectations and passes inspection.

It also makes sense to read customer feedback and check what the service includes. Some teams may only handle surface cleaning, while others provide a full deep clean that covers appliances, carpets, and bathrooms. Comparing these details saves time and avoids unexpected costs.

Clear communication matters as well. A written quote and checklist show what the cleaners will do and what the client can expect in return. That level of clarity prevents confusion and supports a smooth move-out process.

In summary, those hiring end of tenancy cleaning services in Canary Wharf should focus on verified quality, clear terms, and fair pricing. Careful checks now lead to a cleaner property and fewer disputes over deposits later.

Finding the right venue for a group celebration in London takes effort. Restaurants feel too formal. Bars get too loud for conversation. Bowling alleys and escape rooms have been done to death.

But private karaoke rooms offer something different: a space where your group can let loose without an audience of strangers judging your rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody.

Why Private Karaoke Works for Groups

The appeal is simple. You get a room to yourselves. No waiting for your turn on a public stage. No competing with other groups for the microphone. Just your friends, a screen full of song choices, and the freedom to be as terrible or brilliant as you like.

Karaoke rooms

Private karaoke suits almost any occasion. Birthday parties, hen dos, work socials, reunions, or a spontaneous midweek blowout. Groups of six to twenty people fit comfortably in most venues, making it flexible enough for intimate gatherings or larger celebrations.

The format works because it removes pressure. Nobody expects you to perform. The room becomes your own mini concert venue where the only critics are people who will be singing badly themselves in ten minutes.

What to Look for in a Karaoke Venue

Not all karaoke experiences are equal. Some venues focus purely on the singing, offering basic rooms with a screen and microphone. Others combine karaoke with food and drinks, turning the evening into a complete night out rather than a single activity.

Room quality matters. Look for venues with decent sound systems, comfortable seating, and enough space for your group to move around. Cramped rooms with tinny speakers kill the atmosphere quickly.

Karaoke rooms

Song selection is crucial. The best venues update their catalogues regularly and include everything from 80s classics to current chart hits. Check whether they offer songs in multiple languages if your group is diverse.

Food and drink options can make or break the evening. Standing around a karaoke machine for three hours gets tiring without refreshments. Venues that serve proper food, not just bar snacks, allow groups to make a full evening of it.

Booking flexibility helps with planning. Some venues require minimum spends or fixed time slots. Others offer more relaxed arrangements that suit spontaneous bookings.

Where to Find Private Karaoke in London

London has dozens of karaoke options spread across the city. Soho and the West End have the highest concentration, but you will find venues in most areas.

Chinatown stands out as a natural home for karaoke culture. The tradition has deep roots in East Asian entertainment, and Chinatown venues often combine authentic karaoke setups with excellent Cantonese food. For groups wanting both a meal and singing, private karaoke rooms at Plum Valley on Gerrard Street offer spaces for six to twenty guests with full menu service. You can work through dim sum baskets between power ballads.

Soho has several dedicated karaoke bars with private room hire. These tend to focus on the party atmosphere, with cocktail menus and late-night slots.

East London options lean toward the quirky end, with themed rooms and unusual song selections appealing to the Shoreditch crowd.

South London has fewer dedicated venues, but several bars and restaurants offer private karaoke as an add-on to regular bookings.

Planning Your Karaoke Night

Karaoke rooms

A successful karaoke evening requires minimal planning, but a few considerations help things run smoothly.

Book ahead for weekends. Friday and Saturday nights fill up fast, especially for larger groups. Midweek bookings are easier to secure and often cheaper.

Set expectations with your group. Some people love karaoke. Others need warming up. Let everyone know the plan in advance so reluctant singers can mentally prepare rather than feeling ambushed.

Arrive on time. Most venues run tight schedules with back-to-back bookings. Late arrivals eat into your allocated slot.

Create a rough song list. Nothing kills momentum like ten minutes of scrolling through catalogues while everyone waits. Have a few crowd-pleasers ready to kick things off.

Pace the drinks. Enthusiasm tends to increase with alcohol consumption, but so does the likelihood of forgetting lyrics halfway through. Find the balance that works for your group.

Making It a Full Evening

The best karaoke nights combine singing with other elements. Starting with dinner means the group arrives together and settles into the evening before the microphones come out. Venues that offer food service in the karaoke room itself remove the need to relocate mid-evening.

For birthdays and celebrations, check whether the venue can arrange extras like cake, decorations, or champagne. Many will accommodate special requests with advance notice.

After karaoke, Chinatown and Soho locations put you within walking distance of late-night bars if the group wants to continue. Having options nearby keeps the evening flexible.

The Case for Karaoke Over Other Group Activities

Karaoke rooms

Group bookings in London typically mean choosing between expensive, overly organised, or underwhelming. Karaoke rooms sidesteps these problems.

Cost per head stays reasonable compared to escape rooms, axe throwing, or private dining experiences. Most venues charge by the room rather than per person, making larger groups better value.

The activity suits mixed groups. Unlike competitive activities where skill differences create awkward dynamics, karaoke levels the playing field. Confidence matters more than ability, and even the shyest guest usually joins in by the third song.

Energy levels stay high throughout. Passive entertainment like cinema or theatre can feel flat for celebrations. Karaoke keeps everyone involved and creates moments that become running jokes for years afterward.

No special equipment or clothing required. Turn up, grab a microphone, and you are ready to go.

Final Thoughts

Private karaoke rooms solve the eternal London problem of finding group activities that actually work. They accommodate varying group sizes, suit multiple occasions, and create genuinely memorable evenings without requiring military-level planning.

The key is choosing a venue that matches your group’s priorities. Pure party atmosphere or combined with dinner. Central location or neighbourhood spot. Basic setup or full production. London has options across the spectrum.

Your only real decision is who gets the microphone first.

Following a milestone year marked by the debut of five groundbreaking new luxury yachts from Italian Sanlorenzo shipyard, Sanlorenzo Yachts UK confirms the opening of a landmark London showroom on 61 Park Lane, Mayfair in spring 2026.

Bringing one of the world’s most established shipyards to Central London for the first time, this bold move reflects Sanlorenzo Yachts UK’s continued confidence in the UK market and London’s continued importance as a global capital for luxury goods and experiences. In recent years, the company has witnessed a significant surge in demand from UK customers seeking a truly bespoke approach to yacht design – individuals who place emphasis on privacy, exclusivity and complete personalisation.

Italian Yacht design by Sanlorenzo

Sanlorenzo is the world’s leading single-branded shipyard for yachts over 24-metres, setting itself apart by giving the buyer a rare opportunity to co-create their yacht in collaboration with leading architects and interior designers of their choice. Every Sanlorenzo yacht is unique, a masterpiece that blends cutting-edge performance with lifestyle-driven design, from innovative asymmetric layouts that offer increased interior volume and a closer connection to the water, to fully glassed swimming pools and expansive beach clubs with fold down terraces. Each yacht is a fully customisable “floating home” shaped around the owner’s personality and lifestyle choices – all crafted with the precision of Italian artisanship.

“The expansion of our business with the establishment of our new London showroom reinforces our commitment to our UK clientele, placing the brand firmly at the centre of one of the world’s most influential luxury hubs. It allows prospective owners and those new to yachting to begin their Sanlorenzo journey, without needing to leave the capital,”, says Nick Hatfield, Managing Director of Sanlorenzo Yachts UK.

The Park Lane showroom has been conceptualised for today’s generation of yacht owner and charterer. The boutique space invites clients to explore yacht models, layouts and consult directly with Sanlorenzo and Bluegame (a brand of Sanlorenzo) experts.

With a special focus on charter, the team will guide and inspire clients who are not yet ready for full ownership. Sanlorenzo’s charter fleet provides an elegant introduction to the world of yachting, offering the same bespoke service and design excellence for which Sanlorenzo is renowned.

Italian Yacht design by Sanlorenzo

“Chartering is the gateway. Discerning individuals are moving away from conventional luxury travel and seeking experiences entirely on their own terms. With a Sanlorenzo yacht charter, they can curate fully personalised itineraries, from chef-driven dining experiences to high adrenaline watersports, all whist hosting friends and family in complete privacy and seclusion. And with vistas that change by the day, no two experiences are ever the same.” says Hatfield.

Sanlorenzo’s first yachts took to the water in 1958 from a small town in Tuscany. Since then, the shipyard has evolved to become one of the most innovative, stylish outfits at sea, specialising in yachts that are ahead of the curve in design, performance and sustainability. As the representative in the UK and Ireland,

Sanlorenzo Yachts UK supports the brand’s unrivalled strength in vision, direction and heritage and is now integral to the growth of the shipyard, which has seen two decades of consistent leadership and growth with Massimo Perotti at the helm as Executive Chairman.

Sanlorenzo’s global order book continues to grow at pace, fuelled by this year’s strong yacht debuts, and a deepening desire among clients to craft something truly individual.

Complementing its base in Swanwick, Southampton, Sanlorenzo Yachts UK’s Park Lane showroom opens in 2026, with more Sanlorenzo and Bluegame yacht launches and announcements in the pipeline.

Sanlorenzo Yachts UK is part of the Ancasta Group.
