On Sunday, the first of June, The Devonshire Arms and The Fell Hotel will showcase their award-winning wedding venues in an exciting way across the two Yorkshire Dales properties. Brides and grooms-to-be and their families, are invited to see how these country hotels can support their wedding of their dreams.
The ‘dual’ Wedding Open Day event (runs 12 midday-3pm) simultaneously across the two venues, just fifteen minutes’ drive apart, invites couples to explore what each venue can offer – each hosting in a different way to allow a varied guest experience, with all the insight and inspiration needed for planning that special day. The wedding teams will also be on hand to meet you and discuss your wedding day aspirations in more detail.
The Venues
The Fell Hotel in Burnsall is staging an interactive ‘pop up’ wedding day event. Exciting, dynamic and presented in real time – see the venue undergo a transformational makeover, as our creative team of wedding professionals take over. Watch as bridal hair and make-up professionals prep our models alongside photographers and videographers capturing the event.
Sister property, The Devonshire Arms at Bolton Abbey will be hosting a more traditional wedding event, where the country venue will host a carefully curated selection of wedding suppliers, including florists, accessories, hair stylists and stationers along with our expert wedding and events team.
The Event
The duo Wedding Open Day experience event is being held by Bolton Abbey Escapes, formerly The Devonshire Hotels & Restaurant Group, in association with wedding shows and media specialist, ‘Little White Books’. On the day, guests will be supplied with a map, showing the two venues, directions on how to get there, a guide to the afternoon’s events, and trusted supplier information.
For attendees, a 10% discount on your wedding package and a complimentary mini moon in one of our charming holiday cottages is available for deposits paid on the day. Complimentary refreshments will add to the enjoyment of the event, and full information pack will also be available on the day for couples to take away with them.
