Many ways are prescribed as the best ways to build and maintain muscle. Here are a few tips as to the best way to do this.
It is advice that can be used by anyone interested in an exercise programme that will improve overall health, and in doing so, build muscles.
What and Where

You will need to determine what type of muscle you want to build and where you intend this muscle to be. Are you looking to build your core and improve your fitness? Do you want to increase muscle mass? Or, are you just looking to get healthy and build some lean muscle as the beginning of a lifelong fitness programme?
Once you have a clear idea of why you want to build muscle, and where this muscle is going to be, then you can follow the tips below to implement your ideas.
Eat Right

Again, depending on the type of muscle you want to build, you will need to establish and implement a dietary and eating plan that will support your exercise regime. The issue with gaining muscle mass is that, with this muscle, you are also likely to gain some fat. Thus, what you eat is going to be critical. All muscle-building processes will need you to eat sufficient amounts of protein. Lean protein from fish or chicken is what is mainly recommended. Also, concerning your diet and what you eat is the fact that all muscles need hydration to function at their best and, as such, you need to drink sufficient amounts of water if you intend to build muscle.
The Exercise

There can be no muscle built without a certain amount of exercise and the ability to tax or stress your existing muscles. Free weights, dumbbells, and kettlebells, such as those at Mirafit, are the recommended starting place for any muscle-building exercise regime. It is about starting with a weight that you are comfortable with and then adding to this as you train, to increase the strain on the muscles and encourage them to grow. Once you have established a weight training program using free weights, you can progress to additional resistance training and consider setting up a home gym with foam mats to take your workouts to the next level.
Keep Track of Your Progress
Building muscle is an incremental process and, as such, you need to be able to record your gains and understand what works best for your body to put on the type of muscle you want and in the places that you want it. Take before and after pictures and use the scale to measure muscle gain and fat loss.
These are a few simple tips to build muscle the right way. Don’t simply rush out to buy the best home gym available. Look to start small and light, and preferably with the free weights that will improve small muscle movement and control, as well as setting the basics in terms of balance and strength training.
