DRUNCH is a family run, small chain of high-end brunch spots in London and their latest opening in Fitzrovia does them proud.
DRUNCH is situated on a picturesque corner of Fitzrovia. A few hundred yards from the bustle of Oxford Street and surrounded by the most gorgeous architecture, you feel yourself starting to romanticise your life whilst sitting outside.
If you are partial to a quirky touch and ‘Instagrammable’ opportunity, they understand you. Not overly done with flower walls but the quirks come in the form of latte stencils (you can choose from Fashion, Cute or Rude), cool QR code pics and the iconic RIP Diet Cheesecake. More about that later!

Do not think for a second that the quality has been skimped on here. I really appreciated the beautiful glass wear, and crisp linen and chilled soundtrack. After ordering a Coconut and Hazelnut Latte topped with Rose Petals, I waited for my guest, I sat still and really appreciated being there. It has a very calming aesthetic giving you the sense that you are exactly where you should be.

The menu offers a Mediterranean inspired brunch selection, from a simple lunch offering it moves onto dinner service. Think Tuna Tartare, Ricotta Tortellini, Veal Escallop. There is no pork on this menu in case you were coming for a bacon hit! The full English offers beef sausage and turkey bacon as an alternative.
The Eggs Royale and Vegetarian Breakfast were cooked just so. Clean plates all round despite being determined to save room for the sweet menu, which of course I tackled with gusto just the same.

The RIP Diet Cheesecake was an absolute knock out. Perfectly rich, light, sweet and creamy but not cloying like some can be. It was so good I would go back just for that! The pancakes and French toast looked a little better than they tasted, so go for the Cheesecake and thank me later.

The Fitzrovia branch apparently has a speakeasy bar downstairs which is as mysterious as it is exciting! I would love to go back and explore after a few cocktails. I imagine the vibes to be cool and sophisticated after dark.
The service was prompt, unobtrusive and friendly. This is a great location for a post shop coffee, special brunch catch-up with the girls or a relaxed dinner date. I have the feeling it blends from day to night perfectly and it’s a great spot to get a little DRUNCH!
